The karate programs at NIMMA have really helped my girls to gain confidence in themselves. For my oldest, it has given her the confidence to be stronger and be more intentional with her actions. She has been able to carry the skills she has learned at NIMMA to the soccer field. She enjoys the challenge to constantly get to the next level. For my 3-year-old, it has helped her to begin to remember a routine. Through the Little Dragons program, she has been able to learn patience and respect for her peers as well as having fun learning. The sensei’s are always so encouraging and the kids try so hard to get a high five. It really is a very rewarding program for the kids, and it makes me so proud to watch them as a parent. It also makes me feel more comfortable as a mother of two girls that they are learning to protect themselves properly.

I have 2 children who just started this year.Both have struggled before in the past with keeping interest in things.Nobody here is the sporty type.When we went for our tour both kids were extremely excited and waited to start then.We are almost a year into it and they are still just as excited to go.Every week they attend even on days that they didn’t have to.Just had their first belt ceremony and they cannot wait to do more. Such an awesome place.Thank you all for putting in the effort.
